This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines the terms, timelines, costs, and procedures for delivering products purchased from Renemultibuy.com. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms contained herein. Please read this policy carefully.

1. Order Processing

All orders are processed during standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM GMT, excluding public holidays in Ghana).

Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and handed over to our logistics partner within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation. This time is required for order verification, payment processing, and packaging.

Order Verification: For security purposes, we may contact you via phone or email to verify your order or delivery details before processing. Delays may occur if we are unable to reach you.

Order Confirmation: You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order. A second email with tracking information (where available) will be sent once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse.

2. Shipping Destinations & Coverage

We currently ship to addresses within Ghana only. We are unable to accept international orders at this time. Our delivery network covers most regions in Ghana, with service levels varying by location:

Greater Accra Region (Including Tema): Full coverage with standard and express delivery options.

Other Major Cities & Regional Capitals (Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Tamale, etc.): Standard delivery coverage.

Remote & Rural Areas: Delivery is available but may incur additional fees and longer delivery times. Delivery to some very remote locations may require special arrangement and is subject to approval at checkout.

3. Shipping Fees & Delivery Times

Shipping fees are calculated based on your delivery location, the size/weight of your package, and the selected delivery speed.

Note: Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. They are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors beyond our control (see Section 7).

3.2 Shipping Cost Calculation

Shipping costs are displayed clearly at checkout before you complete your purchase. Costs are determined by:

Delivery location (zone).

Total weight and dimensions of your order.

Selected delivery speed (Standard or Express).

Promotions: We occasionally offer free or discounted shipping promotions. Terms for these promotions will be clearly stated.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD) Service

Cash on Delivery is offered as a convenience but is restricted due to operational constraints.

Eligibility: COD is available only for delivery addresses within specific, predefined areas of Accra. The checkout system will automatically determine if your address qualifies for COD. We reserve the right to modify the list of eligible areas without prior notice.

COD Fee: A handling fee of GHS 10-20 (depending on order value) is added to all COD orders to cover processing costs.

Order Limits: COD may not be available for orders below a minimum value (e.g., GHS 50) or above a maximum value (e.g., GHS 1,500).

Payment at Delivery: You must pay the exact total order value (product price + shipping fee + COD fee) in cash to the delivery agent. Our agents do not carry change for large bills; please prepare the closest possible amount.

5. Shipment Tracking

For most orders, once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email and/or SMS. You can use this number to track your package’s progress on our website’s “Track Order” page or the logistics partner’s website. Tracking updates may take 24-48 hours to appear in the system after dispatch. For orders without tracking (e.g., some remote areas), we will provide an estimated delivery window.

6. Delivery Procedure

To ensure a smooth delivery, please note the following:

Delivery Attempts: Our courier will make up to two (2) delivery attempts to the address provided. After the first failed attempt, they will typically contact you to schedule a second attempt.

Recipient: The order can be received by any adult present at the delivery address who can accept payment (for COD) or receive the package.

Inspection at Delivery: You have the right to inspect the package for obvious damage before accepting it. For COD orders, you may inspect the package before making payment. If the package is severely damaged, you may refuse delivery. Please note the refusal reason and contact us immediately.

Proof of Delivery: The courier will obtain a signature or confirmation from the recipient as proof of delivery.

7. Factors Beyond Our Control (Force Majeure)

We are not liable for any delays or failures in delivery resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Bad weather, floods, or natural disasters.
  • Transportation strikes, fuel shortages, or major road closures.
  • Political unrest, national holidays, or security issues.
  • Errors or delays caused by the logistics partner (though we will work with them to resolve issues).
  • Incorrect, incomplete, or unclear delivery addresses provided by the customer.

8. Failed Delivery & Undeliverable Packages

A package may be considered undeliverable for the following reasons:

  • Incorrect, incomplete, or non-existent address.
  • Recipient not available after two delivery attempts.
  • Recipient refuses to accept the package.
  • Failure to pay the due amount for a COD order.

Consequences: Undeliverable packages will be returned to our warehouse. We will contact you to arrange re-delivery, which will incur additional shipping fees. If re-delivery is not arranged within 14 days, the order will be cancelled. For prepaid orders, a refund will be issued minus the original and return shipping costs. For COD orders, the order will be cancelled outright.

9. Address Changes & Order Modifications

If you need to change your delivery address or modify your order, you must contact us immediately at support@renemultibuy.com. Address changes are only possible if the order has not yet been dispatched for delivery. If the order has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee an address change. You may need to coordinate directly with the courier, which may incur extra fees. We cannot add or remove items from an order once it has been placed. You would need to cancel the existing order (if not yet processed) and place a new one.

10. Lost or Stolen Packages

Renemultibuy.com is responsible for your order until it is marked as delivered by the courier. If your tracking information indicates a package was delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbors or your building’s security. Then contact us within 24 hours. We will initiate an investigation with the logistics partner. If the package is confirmed lost in transit before delivery, we will either reship your order at no cost or issue a full refund. We are not liable for packages stolen after delivery has been confirmed. It is the recipient’s responsibility to secure the package upon delivery.
